How do you tell the story of a church that doesn’t exist yet?

Client: Redeemer Lincoln Square  |  Project services: Messaging, Strategy, Video

1. Discovery

As an upcoming church plant in NYC, Redeemer Lincoln Square envisioned existing as a community that seeks both to understand and experience the gospel. Each week, they plan to carve out time for questions to be texted in anonymously, and responded to and wrestled with publicly.

They had a vision, but no way to talk about it.

2. Strategy & Story Formation

We boiled it down to this story:

Why? Because questions lead to dialogue—dialogue with God and with others. And dialogue fosters community.

3. Creation

In anticipation of their launch, we created materials to introduce their story.

Vision video

We walked the streets of Lincoln Square to gather questions and photographs from real New Yorkers. Like Redeemer Lincoln Square, the video is centered around questions and the people who ask them.

Social Content
In addition to the video, we created social graphics to introduce their story across social media.

4. Impact

On their first Sunday, they filled a 900 seat auditorium with momentum to keep growing.

(And they only printed 700 bulletins.)
